This Long Island Hamlet Ranks Among Top 50 Places To Live In United States

A Long Island hamlet was listed on a 2021 ranking of the best places to live in the United States.

Plainview, which is located in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, was ranked 47th in Money.com's 2021 list of the 50 Best Places to Live.

The website cited the area's many beaches along the Long Island Sound and ease of travel to Manhattan through the Long Island Rail Road or driving.

Money.com also said the hamlet of about 27,300 people has a median home price higher than most of the other locations on the list, but significantly lower than nearby North Hempstead.

Job growth is also expected to increase over the next five years.
